Functional relationships between environment, flower initiation, yield and fruit quality. Investigating the patterns of colour development in Australian-bred blush pears and the effects of shading and light on colour and fruit quality, as well as the effects of pear fruit position and light exposure within the tree canopy on colour and quality, and the requirements of light for flower induction in nectarines.
Relevant Experience:
Technical Assistant for the Profitable Pears Project (Agriculture Victoria) investigating different management systems and management techniques to maximize productivity in Australian-bred blush pears.
Master of Agricultural Sciences
