Project Leader for 'Profitable Pears' based at Agriculture Victoria, Tatura
Objective: Look at different management systems and management techniques to maximize productivity in new red blush pears, in an experiment orchard at Tatura.
In this orchard we are focused on 3 large experiments:
- different planting systems,
- irrigation and root pruning, and
- interaction of various rootstocks with the 3 different blush pear cultivars.
